The EV industry is booming and has developed rapidly in the past few years. While different manufacturers compete in the area of R&D, sales can not be ignored. The key to improve sales is good and accountable products, but a company’s sales strategy is also unavoidably important. XPeng recently reformed its sales strategy.

Previously, XPeng’s sales leads were only shared within one specific sales store, but now XPeng’s new sales strategy asks sales teams to share the sales leads with all the stores in one region. The benefit of the new sales strategy is obvious: It allows different sales leads to flow more frequently to more stores in the regions, so that potential consumers would have a higher chance of making contacts with different sales stores. In the long run, this will increase sales of XPeng’s EV as there may be different sales teams keeping in contact with the potential consumers for better service.

With the new sales strategy in hand, XPeng delivered 16,000 EVs in December 2021, exceeding the monthly delivery target of 15,000 units set by XPeng CEO He Xiaopeng for the second consecutive month. In November 2021, the delivery was 15,613. XPeng delivered 41,751 EVs in Q4 2021, a 222% increase year-over-year. See Guangzhou EV start up Xpeng announced record 16,000 deliveries in December 2021, surpassing NIO and Li Auto.
