XPeng opened store at Westfield mall of Scandinavia, expanding quickly

According to the ads shown in Westmoney and user post on reddit, XPeng (“XPeng” or the “Company”, NYSE: XPEV, HKEX: 9868.HK) opened store at Westfield mall of Scandinavia.

XPeng are also shown in jobsite to be hiring in Norway, Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands, in accordance with its rapid international expansion.

XPeng in Norway

Previously, on November 26, XPeng was awarded the Most Known Newcomer of the Year in Kantar’s Car Index survey, conducted in association with Aller Media Group, one of the largest media publishers in Norway.

XPeng has been expanding its local presence in Norway as a key initiative in its long-term international strategy. Together with its local partner XBI, XPeng has established 17 local sales outlets and 21 service outlets in Norway.

The Norwegian launch of the XPeng P7 and P7 Wing special edition in October marks another significant development of its product portfolio in Norway following the launch of the G3.

XPeng is the latest Chinese EV startup to eye increased shipments to Europe. The company will start exporting cars to Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands in 2022.

XPeng strong sales in China in November

XPeng delivered a total of 15,613 units (up 270% year-over-year), which is a few thousand higher than the previous record of 10,412 in September. No other startup in China managed to reach 15,000 yet.

Deliveries in November consisted of 7,839 P7 smart sports sedans, representing a 187% increase year-over-year. The P5 smart family sedan, launched in September 2021, has been building a solid order backlog with 2,154 units delivered in November.

At the same time, the G3i smart SUV – launched in July 2021 – is gaining increasing customer traction with 5,546 units delivered in November (plus 74 G3s delivered).

As of November 30, 2021, year-to-date total vehicle deliveries reached 82,155, representing a 285% increase year-over-year, including 53,110 P7 deliveries.

The Company’s cumulative deliveries reached 121,953 as of the end of November 2021.
