XPeng Inc. (NYSE: XPEV, HKEX: 9868.HK) tops in December with 16,000 vehicle delivery, up 181% year-over-year, surpassing its 15,000-vehicle monthly delivery target twice this year. 41,751 vehicles were delivered in Q4 2021, up 222% year-over-year. In 2021, XPeng delivered 98,155 vehicles, up 263% year-over-year in total.
Established in 2014, Xpeng has gradually gained international recognition, particularly with the launch of P7 that won the hearts of many. Not only has Xpeng’s broader charging and sales network has been growing rapidly in China, Xpeng owns 661 branded supercharging stations across 228 cities and 311 physical retail stores in operation across 121 cities as of the end of November 2021.
P7 sells well – Safe, Intelligent, Attractive
China EV makers have been on nerve with supply chain challenges in 2021, Xpeng is one of few that tackles while maintaining rapid growth.
In December, Xpeng P7 delivered 7,459 units, and the cumulative delivery for the year was 60,569 units, accounting for 62% of the total delivery volume, followed by P5 and G3.
The signature P7 began to deliver in October this year, setting record of 5,030 units delivery in December. Annual cumulative deliveries of XPeng G3 and G3i amounted to 29,721 units, with an increase of 148% year-on-year.
P7 has received a five-star score from C-NCAP with an ultra-high score rate of 89.4%. Its P798.51% score is the highest recorded for a pure electric vehicle. The P7’s excellent performance in intelligent driving, intelligent safety, intelligent interaction, intelligent energy efficiency, lane change assistance and other intelligent indicators has also won the first five-star model in the intelligent vehicle index industry from i-VISTA.
These two “five-star reviews” fully affirm the safety and intelligence achievements of XPeng P7, injecting a strong agent for the sales growth of XPeng P7 and seizing the high-end car market.
XPeng delivery ranked first among China EV Trio
In terms of cumulative deliveries for 2021, XPeng delivered 98,155 units, up 260% year-over-year, topping the list for 2021. Li Auto delivered 91,429 units, up 109% year-over-year; and NIO delivered 90,491 units, up 177% year-over-year.
